A great mentor and someone who inspired me in my work at Pacnet passed away on Sunday November 9th. His humour, no nonsense insight and customer focus will be sorely missed and I can only hope to emulate him in some way befitting presently and in the future. My thoughts are with Lisa, Tayla and Mitchell at this time.
We grew up with or cousin Phil and his family in Coffs Harbour.
He lost his adoring Mum at 12 years and his Dad not
too many years after. Phil’s brother Mike, then aged 17 took
on the nurturing role. To their credit they have stayed as close
as any brothers could be and have both managed to secure
successful careers, the most amazing wives in Lisa and Barb,
& the two most cherished children Tayla & Mitch. Love you Phil.
So sorry to hear the news. Phil was my fantastic boss back in 1996 at Austar. Gave me a year off for me to travel the world, and still offered my job back when I returned. A sad loss, and I think of his wife and kids as I have wife and 4 kids of my own, with another on the way. He was ALWAYS happy and great sense of humour. his life was cut short. very sad..
